Fluorinated Gases (F Gas) in Refrigerant Dryers
F gas is an abbreviation for fluorinated gas. F gases are a group of man-made gases which have a variety of industrial applications, such as use in refrigeration, air conditioning and fire safety systems. In the compressed air industry you can commonly find F gases inside refrigerant dryers. In the refrigerant process, through the use of an F gas, the refrigerant dryer removes moisture from the compressed air.
